The Graduation in Computer Graphics & Multimedia Engineering (CG&M Eng.) aims to follow and anticipate the needs of a emerging activity sector which lacks qualified professionals. The study plan has a strong interdisciplinary component with a strong focus on Computer Graphics, Audiovisual Production (2D & 3D) and Interactive Applications and Media. The program has a high practical bias that complements a solid knowledge of the theoretical concepts and frameworks with hands-on practice with equipment and technologies as well as to the development of project methodologies suited with the current needs and competitiveness of the industry. Program Coordinator: Program aims To train professionals for the conception, design, development and management of systems, products and services with a strong component of graphic, audiovisual and interactive multimedia content. Length and Professional Profile The Computer Graphics & Multimedia Engineering graduation program is organized in 6 semesters [3 years]. The graduates will be able to work in middle to high staff boards, having competencies to use specific techniques and to be part of development teams. They are also able to lead projects and development teams with conception [project], management and innovation abilities. The program is accredited by the Portuguese Professional Order of Technical Engineers (OET) - Informatics Engineering Section.
