The undergraduate degree in Computer Networks and Systems Engineering tries to join solid scientific skills with the necessary specialisation in recent communication and information technologies.

Course Aims

The general objectives of this study cycle are divided into the following three components:

  • ­ Communication Networks: provides skills which allow the planning, implementation, operation and management of a communications network.
  • ­ Systems Management: provides skills that enable the design, installation and management of different types of services and systems that support them. This knowledge includes the field of hardware and software technologies that support these systems.
  • ­ Network and Systems Security: provides skills in order to apply mechanisms and techniques for the security and privacy of information in the media and systems that transport and process it.

Length and Professional Profile

The course is structured in a 3 year cycle of studies (180 ECTS), giving students a 1st degree in Computers Networks and Systems Engineering.
